Residents of Makeni Bonaventure area are demanding for the installation of piped water in the area.
Speaking in an interview with Komboni radio news, Ms Margret Sakala lamented that the absence of piped water in that community has proved to be challenging as residents have to pay for the commodity from people who have boreholes.
And Ms Sharon Mulenga has called on the area councilor to engage the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company to install water pipes so that residents can have access to safe and clean drinking water.
She also complained that the absence of piped water has also been challenging for people who have flushable toilets.
