And in a related development, residents of Chunga Township have bemoaned the dilapidated state of township roads in that community.

Speaking in an interview with a Komboni radio news crew that visited the community today, the residents charged that most feeder roads in the community are inaccessible due to heavy rains being experienced in the city.
They lamented that as a result, motorists are shunning taking passengers to the final bus stops owing to the dilapidated state of roads.
The residents further complained that it has become a challenge for people around Chunga Madamu area to drive to work or any other place as the roads are in bad shape.
