MOTORISTS CALL FOR ERECTION OF SPEED HUMP SIGNS ALONG COMMON WEALTH ROAD

Some concerned motorists have expressed concern over the speed humps that have been erected along Common Wealth road in Matero Township without sign posts.

The motorists have told Komboni Radio News that the newly erected speed humps are posing danger to motorists who are not familiar with the road as they are not visible.

The motorists have however stated that are not against the erection of speed humps but want the local authority to ensure that road humps are clearly marked for the safety of the road users.

They have since appealed to the council to quickly mark the speed humps and erect road signs to prevent loss of lives.
