PUPILS LEARNING ON THE FLOOR AT KASAMA’S NKONSHI PRIMARY SCHOOL

Pupils at Nkonshi Primary School in Kasama’s Lukashya Constituency are learning on the floor due to lack of desks.

School Deputy Head Teacher, Chrispine Funjika says this is hampering the smooth delivery of quality education at the learning institution.

This came to light when Lukashya Member of Parliament, Mwenya Munkonge’s Field Projects Secretary Joseph Mutale handed over 25 iron sheets to the school donated by the MP.

A considerable number of pupils in the majority of primary schools in Kasama and the province at large still study in poor conditions, making it harder for them to perform well.
