Bwana Mkubwa PF Member of Parliament Jonas Chanda, has called on the Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company to address the erratic water supply being experienced in some parts of the constituency.
And Dr Chanda has also urged the water utility firm to cancel what he termed as wrong Water bills being issued to households in Bwana Mkubwa Constituency.
In an interview with Komboni radio news, Dr Chanda disclosed that he has received complaints from residents of Mushili, Katondo and Kaloko that they are being billed despite not having constant water supply.
And Dr Chanda has urged the Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company to quickly address the water pipe leakage and blocked sewer lines in the affected area.
Meanwhile, Dr Chanda has appealed to Kafubu water and Sewerage Company to engage residents with high water bills and re-negotiate flexible and affordable repayment plans rather than resorting to mass water disconnections which could lead to an outbreak of Cholera.
