Government will this week release about Two Hundred Million Kwacha to pay local contractors countrywide.
Northern Province Minister Brian Mundubile disclosed the development during a media briefing held at his office yesterday.
Mr. Mundubile who is also Mporokoso Member of Parliament says government wants to ensure that payments are made regularly and on time in a bit to build capacity in local contractors.
The Provincial Minister has since urged the local contractors to get back on site once they receive their payments.
