BLOCKED SEWER ON MANCHINCHI ROAD WORRY RESIDENTS

Residents of Lusaka have expressed concern over the blocked sewer along Manchinchi road near Manda Hill police post.

The residents fear that if left unchecked, the sewer blockage may result in an outbreak of Cholera and have called on the Lusaka water and Sewerage Company to rectify the problem.

One of the concerned residents, Jackson Njovu said that the sewer effluent has been left unattended to for three weeks now posing a serious health hazard to members of the public.

And another resident Margaret Mwape who also echoed the same sentiments has advised members of the public to  stop throwing garbage in the blocked sewer and emphasized the need for quick intervention by the Lusaka water and sewerage company.
