A 68-year-old peasant farmer of Twatasha Village in Chilongoshi area in Kasama District, who was axed to death by some villagers on accusation of practicing witchcraft, has been put to rest.
Daughter to the deceased Barbra Kabwe 25 says the body of her father Boniface Kabwe, who was axed to death on Sunday evening, was put to rest yesterday in Munkombwe Village in chief Munkonge’s area.
Ms. Kabwe who witnessed the sad incident narrated the ordeal.
Police in Kasama have since picked up three suspects while another person has been picked up by the Community Crime Prevention and Control Association (CCPCA) in connection with the murder.
