KANYAMA CIVIC LEADER URGE RESIDENTS TO SURRENDER IDLE LAND TO GOVT

BY KALALUKA MUSHAUKWA

Kanyama ward 10 Councilor Brighton Bilumba has called upon residents in his ward who have idle land to surrender it to the authorities, so that it can be used for the construction of a Hospital and School.

In an interview with Komboni radio news, Mr Bilumba disclosed that Government has plans of constructing health posts and schools in Kanyama constituency but was quick to state that lack of enough land has hampered this development.

The civic leader has since appealed to residents in Kanyama Constituency who have enough land which they have no use for to surrender it to government so that it can be used to construct social amenities such as health centres and schools.
