Criminals in Libala water works area are reported to have taken advantage of the dilapidated roads to attack motorists at night.
The residents have disclosed that the criminals ambush unsuspecting motorists at night as they try to negotiate their way through the potholes.
One of the concerned residents Lameck Mwanza said a number of motorists have been attacked during the night and some even lost their cars in the process.
Another resident Charles Moonga said that the roads have been in a bad state for some time now and wondered why Libala Water Works Area seems to have been left out on the road construction projects being undertaken in other compounds.
