UPND-PF GRAVEYARD FRACAS RECEIVES MORE CONDEMNATIONS

BY KALALUKA MUSHAUKWA

Stakeholders have continued to condemn what transpired on Saturday where suspected UPND cadres and PF attacked mourners at Leopards Hill Memorial Park.

Speaking in separate interviews with Komboni Radio News today, the residents have described the attack on mourners as inhuman and against the Zambian culture.

The residents charged that it is unfortunate that cadres have decided to take their political rivalry to the graveyards which are supposed to be sacred places and must be treated as such.

The residents have since called upon leaders of the two political parties to sit down their youths and counsel them on the need to maintain peace and respect each other’s divergent views.

Meanwhile, PF Media Director Sunday Chanda has also condemned the fracas involving the UPND and PF cadres at Leopard’s Hill Memorial Park on Saturday.

Mr Chanda has told Komboni Radio News that what happened on Saturday is unfortunate and should be condemned by all well-meaning Zambians.
