Some concerned Lusaka residents have condemned the continued vandalism of public infrastructure by some unscrupulous people.
And speaking in an interview with Komboni Radio News, the residents have called on the Zambia Police to expedite investigations into the destruction of ZESCO electricity pylons in Kafue district.
Mr Jaffa Phiri says it is unfortunate that some people want to be unpatriotic by vandalizing Public infrastructure.
Mr Phiri has since called on the police to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
UNKNOWN people recently brought down a Zesco pylon on the 330-kilovolt transmission line running from Kafue West to the Lusaka West Substation via the South Multi-Facility Economic Zone.
The incident happened on a private farm where another attempt to bring down a second pylon failed.
