Residents of Lusaka’s Chawama compound have appealed to the local authority not to allow Deeper Life Church to go ahead and build a wall fence around the church.
In an interview with Komboni radio news, the angry resident charged that it would be very difficult for them to access other roads in the community if the church is allowed to build a wall fence around the area.
The residents cited the road leading to Chawama Clinic, market and the school as the main roads that would be blocked if the church builds the wall fence.
The residents have since vowed that they will have no choice but to demolish the wall fence if their plea falls on deaf ears.
