A resident of Chiba in Kasama has bemoaned the lack of proper infrastructure and poor sanitary conditions at Modern market.
Kedson Kalumba says that marketeers have for long time been asking for proper market infrastructure but that all their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.
Mr. Kalumba says marketeers have also been asking for proper toilets as what they are using now is nothing to write home about adding that there is a danger of a disease outbreak due to the bad sanitary conditions at the market.
Mr Kalumba has also described the area councilor as a no show civic leader.
