The Lusaka water and sewerage company says the water interruption being faced in Mtendere and Kalingalinga Compounds are as a result of a broken tank which supplies water to these areas.
Speaking in an interview with Komboni radio news, Company Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Patson Phiri said the water utility firm is however conducting repair works.
Mr. Phiri added that water supply in Mtendere and Kalingalinga is expected to normalize on Sunday.
Mtendere compound has had no water for almost two weeks now while kalingalinga is said to have had no water for close to four days.
