TAYALI REGRETS POLITICAL CLASHES BETWEEN NDD SUPPORTERS AND PF CADRES

Economic and Equity Party (EEP) president Chilufya Tayali has advised the Zambia police to make unannounced raids when arresting politicians.

Mr. Tayali says doing so will help in curbing political violence in the country saying issuing them with call outs allow them to mobilize cadres who threaten public peace.

Commenting on the fracas that happened yesterday when Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili was summoned at central police, Mr. Tayali described the clashes as regrettable.

And Mr Tayali has advised Mr Kambwili to use the courts of law to prove his innocence instead of accusing others of being corrupt.

The EEP leader has since vowed to be a witness in the cases of forgery that Mr. Kambwili has been charged with.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tayali has vowed to continue tracking down any alleged corrupt activities by political leaders including those in authority.

Mr. Tayali has since challenged Mr. Kambwili to avail evidence of his corruption allegation so that he can take up the cases.

Ends/MP
