NEW CHILANGA MP CHALLENGED TO COMPLETED STALLED DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS

Newly elected Chilanga Member of Parliament Maria Langa has been challenged to complete all the developmental projects that had stalled in that constituency.
In a walk in interview with Komboni radio news, Mr White Chatalu Paipi says they are a lot of developmental projects that had stalled during the incarceration of the former MP which need to be completed now.
Mr Chitalu cited the poor road network, lack of access to clean and safe drinking water and the absence of social amenities as some of the challenges that Mrs Langa needs to address.
The senior citizen has also castigated politicians who have a tendency of neglecting their constituencies after being voted in office and only resurface when seeking votes from people.
Meanwhile, the Patriotic Front in Southern Province has congratulated Ms Maria Langa for scoping the Chilanga Parliamentary seat by-election.
PF Southern Province Information and Publicity Secretary Trymore Mwenda has told Komboni Radio News that Mrs Langa’s victory in the Chilanga by-elections is a clear indication of the confidence that the people of Zambia have in the PF government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
Mr Mwenda also charged that the victory in the just ended by-elections is a clear signal that victory is certain for the PF in the 2021 General elections.
He has also commended party officials and members for their unwavering support, commitment and hard-work before and during the Chilanga by-election, as they did not rest in trying to ensure that the party secured victory.
