Some Lusaka residents have welcomed the ban on street vending in the Central Business District.
Speaking in separate interviews with Komboni Radio News, the residents observed that the decision by government to displace vendors has brought sanity in the CBD.
They further said that the ban on street vending and the initiative to clean the capital city has restored Lusaka to its actual position.
The residents said the city is looking very attractive and good enough for anyone to admire as road signs and other shops are now visible unlike in the past when there was unregulated vending.
