National Organizing Committee for the World Consumer Rights Day has urged online store owners to ensure that they observe consumer rights.
Committee chairperson Lee Hamunji says Ecommerce business owners should ensure that consumers who buy goods or pay for services online are provided with enough information to enable them make intelligent and informed product choices.
Mr. Hamunji adds that in an event where the consumers have complaints over products purchased online, a right to redress to be accorded to them.
Mr. Hamunji was speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today to mark the beginning for the preparation or the world consumer rights day to be held in March under the theme E-commerce without leaving Consumers behind.
