Residents of Kasamba area in Matero constituency have bemoaned delays by the local authority to construct drainages in the area.
The resident charged that there is need for the local authority to construct drainages in order to prevent the floods that characterized that area during the just ended rainy season.
The residents disclosed that a lot of houses in the area were flooded due to lack of a proper drainage system.
And the residents have accused their area councilor of not doing anything to address the matter despite numerous appeals from the community.
