A civic leader in Garden Compound says plans are underway to upgrade Garden police post into a police station.
Ngwerere ward 19 councilor Adrian Banda has told Komboni Radio News that there is need to upgrade Garden Police Post into a Police station in order to meet the demands of the growing population of people in the community.
And Mr. Banda has also disclosed that the local authority has identified land for the construction of a police post in Garden Side-three.
He says he is working with the office of the Member of Parliament in order to curb crime in his ward.
