A 5 year old girl has died after falling down from a window of an incomplete building in Chinsali District of Muchinga Province.
The sudden death of the juvenile has been confirmed by Muchinga Province Police Commissioner Chola Katanga.
Mr Katanga said the incident occurred on April 16, 2018 around 13:00hrs in Mayard compound and identified the deceased as Grace Kampamba Mpundu.
He explained that the death of the girl happened while she was playing with her elder brother Emmanuel Kampamba aged 7 and another unknown child when she fell down from the Window level of the unfinished building.
Mr Katanga said that the deceased child sustained a deep cut on the upper right eye lid, bleeding from the nose and mouth, a swollen face and later died as she was being rushed to the Hospital.
He further said the body of the juvenile is currently laying in Chinsali General Hospital Mortuary awaiting burial.
The Police Commissioner has however, mentioned that no foul play is suspected.
