Residents of Mtendere B compound in Munali Constituency have bemoaned the erratic water supply in that area.
Speaking in an interview with Komboni Radio news today, the residents complained that they have been experiencing erratic water supply in the community for over a week now without any tangible solution from the authorities.
Mrs Mable Mbewe laments that women and children are the most affected as they have to cover long distances to fetch water for domestic use which they also have to pay for.
And another resident Veronsha Lungu also called on the water utility firm to quickly address the water challenges being faced in that community as water is an important commodity that people can’t do without.
