The Ministry of General Education has warned that it will not tolerate any learners to behave in an unruly manner to the extent of damaging public property in schools.
Ministry of General Education spokesperson Hilary Chipango says the law will take its course on any learner found wanting.
Mr Chipango has warned that pupils risk being expelled from school and has since advised them to behave well as they are the ones that would lose out if expelled from school.
He has also appealed to parents and guardians to communicate to their children who are in boarding schools through the school management.
Mr Chipango was reacting to an incident that happened in Monze recently were pupils rioted after their phones were confiscated.
And Mr Chipango has disclosed that out of the twelve pupils who were detained 8 have been released while 4 pupils are still in custody and expected to appear in court soon.
