Residents of Garden compound have called on the Ministry of Health to expedite the distribution of mosquito nets.
The residents who welcomed government’s interventions aimed at eradicating malaria said mosquitos have infested that area a situation that puts them at risk of being infected with Malaria.
A resident only identified as Bana Angela observed that mosquitos have continued to breed and emphasized the need for the distribution of mosquito nets to be done as soon as possible.
And another resident has also appealed to the relevant authorities to also spray the sewer ponds saying they have become a breeding ground for mosquitos.
