Police have arrested a 23 YEAR OLD WOMAN for allegedly stabbing to death her husband’s lover, after she allegedly found them having sex on the kitchen floor.
Police Spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo who confirmed the development to Komboni Radio News identified the suspect as Jane Nambeye.
Mrs Katongo explained that the suspect alleged that she caught her 31 year old husband in a sexual act with another woman in a grass thatched kitchen.
She disclosed that the incident happened on Sunday around 10:00 hours adding that the victim died on the spot after she was stabbed on the left side of her breast.
The suspect was apprehended by members of the public and handed over to Police in Shibuyunji.
The body of the victim is in UTH mortuary awaiting postmortem while the accused person remains in detention.
