Komboni Radio introduced the 1st ever Komboni Radio Musical Awards for Upcoming Artists. An event designed to cater for untapped talent in the music industry appreciate, celebrate and promote local upcoming artist and music.
In the 3 years of its existence, Komboni Radio has compiled over 3000 albums (for the artists with 4-5 songs) and over 40 000 songs for the upcoming artists.
The Komboni Radio Musical Awards for upcoming Artist currently has a total of 44 categories. The number of categories may increase or decrease as change may dictate in the future.
The event is held every 24th of October and three to four weeks before with a premier event that gives the Awards a representative face.
