[the_ad id="1067"]

The Zambia National Union of Teachers (ZNUT) on the Copperbelt has raised concerns over the government’s inadequate preparation of teachers for the implementation of the new curriculum, set to roll out next year.

Speaking to Komboni Radio , ZNUT Copperbelt Province Director Bunda Katutu said the government has not done enough to sensitize both teachers and parents about the new curriculum.

Mr. Katutu stressed the need for extensive sensitization ahead of the implementation to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum by all stakeholders.

Government plans to introduce the new curriculum in schools next year.

One of the notable changes includes a shift from the current grading system to a form-based system.
