A 16 year old street kid whose identity has been withheld of no fixed abode but believed to be from Lusaka’s George Compound has been Sodomized in Ndola by a street adult.

The incident which occurred on occurred on Tuesday, 17th December 2024 at around 21:00 hours at Broadway.

Brief facts of the matter are that on the said date, the victim travelled from Lusaka to Ndola by train and joined his fellow street kids. On the same day at night, as they were about to sleep, he was sodomized but his resisting and shouting at other street kids led to the apprehension of the offender identified as Chilufya John aged 24 of an unmarked house number Chipulukusu compound.

The assailant was taken to Ndola Central Police Station, where he was detained. A medical report form was issued to the victim, and the case docket was opened.

Investigations into the matter have since been instituted.
