The Lusaka City council says it has heightened patrols to curb under-age beer drinking.
Council Public Relations Manager Chola Mwamba disclosed in a statement that the council is aware that some bars , night club owners and liquor retailers in Lusaka have continued to ignore the law that prohibits under-age beer drinking stressing that it is for this reason that the local authority is intensifying patrols to curb the vice
Ms. Mwamba added that the local authority will during this festive season equally up it’s game in ensuring that business entities abide by the provisions of the law.
She has since warned unlicensed beer outlets and those allowing underage drinking of stain action should they be found wanting.
