The National Association for Marketeers, Disabled Traders and Vendors of Zambia has appealed to the government for support amidst the current economic challenges affecting businesses of Marketeers.

Speaking in an interview with komboni news, Association Secretary General Rodgers Bezika says the unstable exchange rate of the US dollar has negatively impacted their businesses, leading to a significant decline in sales and revenue.

Mr.Bezika says the current economic situation has made it difficult for local businesses to compete with foreign businesses that are entering the Zambian markets.

He has since urged the government to consider their plight and provide them with the necessary support to help recover and grow local businesses.
