Sanity has been reinstated at Lusaka’s intercity bus terminus as buses have started moving to their various destinations.

Musonda Nsofwa, a long-distance driver, told Komboni Radio News that it is gratifying to see the situation normalize, as opposed to yesterday’s case when business came to a standstill.

Alick Phiri, another motorist who was affected during yesterday’s protest, said the situation is currently peaceful but hoped that the aggrieved parties would conclude their discussions to fully normalize it.

Others insisted that the road transport and safety agency reinstate Juldan motors operating license as this is the only way to bring sanity to the international bus station.
