Chifubu Residents Grateful For Paving of Road

Residents of Chifubu township have expressed gratitude for the paving of the ring road at Chifubu market.

Speaking to Komboni News, the residents narrated that the road used to have potholes and became impassable whenever there were heavy rains.
Residents of Chifubu Township have expressed their gratitude for the recently paved ring road at Chifubu Market.

In an interview with Komboni News, the residents shared that the road previously had numerous potholes and became impassable during heavy rains.

Steward Kapoba, Chairperson of the Chifubu Constituency Development Fund, explained that the project cost K2.2 million and was funded through the 2024 Constituency Development Fund allocation.

On-site, project foreman Emmanuel Mweembe stated that the project is expected to be completed within four months. However, he assured residents that it would be finished in the next two months. He also mentioned that the general labor for the project is being sourced from the youth in the constituency.
