Residents of Kabanana site and service area in Lusaka have bemoaned the erratic water supply currently being experienced in the area.
The residents who opted to remain anonymous lamented to Komboni radio that they barely have access to water as the supply only lasts for a few hours.
Others charged that as a result of the scarcity of the commodity, they are forced to pay exorbitant fees to those that have running water make it almost impossible for those that cannot afford to access.
The aggrieved residents charged that most households in the area use flushable toilets but are finding it difficult to cope as a result of insufficient supply of water.
The residents have since called on government to quickly come to their aid as they fear a possible outback of water bone diseases.
