The Alliance for Accountability Advocacy Zambia(AAAZ) has called for an end to acts of corruption that occur when one is obtaining a National Registration Card (NRC).

AAAZ Executive Director Luchembe Chilufua in an exclusive interview with Komboni radio news noted that paying a bribe when one wants to obtain an NRC is one form of corruption that the public has continued to paid a blind eye to especially those that are involved.

Mr. Luchembe charged that it is disheartening to see youths at the age of 16 being introduced to such corrupt activities in their quest to have an NRC an act he says has long term effects.

He however disclosed that his organisation working with other stakeholders have taken it upon themselves to create public awareness of the dangers of corruption in accessing public services.
