Government has given out various items to the Kansenshi Correctional facility inmates worth over K15,000.

Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Augustine Kasongo who delivered the items among them Four 50KG bags of salt, four 20Ltrs of cooking oil and 300 lunch boxes explained that from time to time, the correctional facilities across the province will be aided.

And speaking at the same event, Zambia Correctional Facility Copperbelt Regional Commanding Officer Chilombe thanked government for the support.

And one of the inmates who spoke on behalf of others applauded the gesture.
