Lusaka’s Kanyama constituency Member of Parliament Monty Chinkuli says he is aware of the poor road network in most compounds of the constituency.

Mr. Chinkuli disclosed that Kanyama houses a number of industries whose heavy-duty trucks contribute to the degrading of some roads leading to them becoming almost impassable.

He however announced that he is currently in talks with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing to be allocated with a stretch of 150 kilometers road project to help address the matter.

The area law maker says once discussions are concluded, most dilapidated roads in Kanyama will receive a facelift from the 150 kilometers allocation.

Mr. Chinkuli was speaking to Komboni radio news in an exclusive interview.
