Kanyanje Ward Councilor Fewdays Lumbwe has emphasized the need for equal distribution of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) across all wards in Ndola.
Mr. Lumbwe says that despite the recent increase in CDF allocation, some wards are still not receiving a fair share, hindering their development.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Lumbwe expressed concerns over the uneven distribution of funds, urging those responsible to ensure equal allocation for the benefit of all, noting that this disparity makes it challenging for some wards to develop.
He is optimistic that the increased CDF in his ward will be utilized to address pressing issues such as erratic water supply, poor road networks, and inadequate drainage systems.
The Civic Leader stressed that the Ndola City Council and members of Parliament must prioritize transparency and accountability in managing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to ensure equal distribution of funds across all wards.
