Ndola-based democracy and governance advocate Fabian Mutale has expressed sadness over the demolition of makeshift mobile money booths in the city's central business district.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Mutale charged that before swinging into action, Ndola City Council should have engaged stakeholders to protect investors' infrastructure.
Mr. Mutale stresses that, amidst efforts to keep Zambia clean, green, and healthy, authorities must consider factors affecting the masses.
He has urged the Ndola City Council, through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, to engage stakeholders and find a win-win resolution.

Meanwhile, Ndola Mayor Jones Kalyati says he was unaware of the demolition, which was carried out by the Ndola City Council management through the Town Clerk's office as part of the "Keep Zambia Clean, Green, and Healthy" campaign.
