Farmers in Kitwe district on the Copperbelt have applauded the Government's move to officially launch the distribution of inputs for the 2024/2025 Farmer Input Support Program (FISP).
Speaking in an interview with Komboni news, Wedson Sinyangwe, a Farmer has implored Government to ensure that inputs are made available to them ahead of time.
And Nelia Lungu has appealed to Government to consider reducing the prices of fertilizer in shops because not every farmer is privileged to have access to inputs through FISP
RECENTLY Agriculture Minister Reuben Mtolo disclosed that the government is spending over 500 million dollars on FISP and about 7,000 farmers have so far deposited their K400.
