Parents in Lusaka’s Chaisa compound have called for the equal distribution of the youth empowerment funds.
In an interview with Komboni Radio News, the concerned parents lamented that most of the children in the community have resorted to abusing alcohol and engage in other illicit activities due to lack of employment.
Mr Felix Mulenga disclosed that young people are spending most of their time in night clubs and other drinking places, hence the need for government to create employment opportunities for them.
And Geoffrey Mwanza says it is unfortunate that only a few individuals are benefiting from these empowerments funds that are meant to benefit everyone regardless of their political affiliation.
