An unidentified man of Zingalume compound was this morning discovered dead in a makeshift stall near Muchinga ground.
One of the eye witnesses who declined to be named narrated to a Komboni radio news crew that rushed to the scene that the deceased was last seen last evening at one of the named bars where he had gone to watch a football match.
The witness narrated that the deceased was only discovered dead in a makeshift stall with a belt around his neck in a kneeling position.
Another resident only identified as Bana Jane suspects that the deceased could have been murdered as he was found with a seemingly broken neck.
By broadcast time police had already picked up the body.
Meanwhile, residents of Zingalume compound have called for police patrols in that area to curb criminal activities.
The residents charged that lack of enough security presence in that area has led to an increase in murder cases citing the suspected ritual killings that were recorded last as incidences that have left them traumatized.
And in a related development, a 28 year old man only identified as Chris was in the early hours of today found dead in a drainage system in garden compound.
In an interview with a Komboni radio news crew that rushed to the scene, Fred Siyamazuba disclosed that he used to work with the deceased as Zamcab operators in garden compound.
Fred further disclosed that the deceased who was homeless has been unwell for the past days and suspects he could have fallen and drowned in the drain.
By broadcast time the body had already been picked by officers from Garden police Station.
