The Zambia United Local Authorities Workers Union, (ZULAWU) has expressed displeasure at the non-payment of the June and July 2018 salaries to council workers countrywide.
ZULAWU General Secretary, Emmanuel Mwisa, says that the two month’s salary arrears owed to council workers have enabled them struggle in the sustenance of their livelihoods a situation he has described as unacceptable.
Mr. Mwisa has since implored government to immediately release the two months equalization funds so that workers are paid the arrears.
