Residents of Lusaka’s Zingalume compound have appealed for intensified police patrols in Twikatane and surrounding areas.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, Mr Evans Nkandu lamented that the community has continued to record murder cases due to the porous security in that area.
Mr Nkandu has since appealed to government to deploy military personnel in Zingalume compound in order to restore sanity in the community.
He says residents in the community are leaving in fear and cannot move freely due to the increased murder cases being recorded in Zingalume compound.
Mr Nkandu has further appealed to the Lusaka City Council to move in the community and cramp down on residents that have continued to illegally brew Kachasu.
