Zambia Corporative Federation-ZCF Executive Director James Chirwa has refuted claims by some security guards engaged by the federation in Kasama that they have not been paid for the past six months.
Mr Chirwa has told Komboni Radio News in an interview that the Federation is up to date with paying all its employees across the country.
The ZCF Executive Director stated that he has not received any report from the regional office in Kasama over salary delays for security guards.
Last week, security guards engaged by ZCF to guard the installed solar milling Plants in various places in Kasama district complained that they have gone for six months without salaries.
Speaking on behalf of the affected security guards, Patrick Mulundu who works at Sombe solar milling Plant charged that ZCF has failed to honor its contractual obligation to pay monthly salaries to them despite them providing a service.
