Nelly Kabolesha, aged 34, has died in Munich, Germany.

In a statement issued by First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Embassy in Berlin Kellys Kaunda, Ms Kabolesha collapsed on the train when she was on her way to work and died shortly after arrival at the hospital.

Zambia’s Ambassador to Germany, Anthony Mukwita has since conveyed his deepest condolences to the Kabolesha family, her workmates and friends.

The Zambian envoy says Ms Kabolesha has died so young when her contributions to society were acutely needed.

Ms Kabolesha lived and worked in Munich for Zalaris Deuschland as a Success Factor Consultant in the Human Resource Department.

Those that knew her closely describe her as a hardworking and loving young woman whose lifestyle contributed to Zambia’s good image in Munich.

Mr Mukwita says the Zambian embassy is in touch with Ms Kabolesha’s employers, the family back in Zambia, the Zambian community in Germany and the German authorities coordinating efforts aimed at the timely return of the body to its final resting place.
