Youths in Chimfwembe village of Lukulu ward in Kasama Central Constituency are turning to drugs and alcohol abuse due to a lack of public recreational and sporting facilities.
Village Secretary, Everisto Chimya who spoke on behalf of the youths says recreational and sporting facilities are beneficial to the mental growth of young people.
Mr. Chimya notes that the lack of sporting facilities is the cause of increasing alcohol and drug abuse and teenage pregnancies.
