Women in Lilanda compound have expressed interest in going back to school under a programme dubbed Mwashibukeni which is a partnership of 3 private schools in the community.

Kapwepwe ward 25 councilor Patrick Salubusa has told Komboni radio news that a good number of women and youths in his ward have expressed willingness to enroll for the lessons that might help them to become self-reliant in the near future.
The civic leader who has bemoaned the high rate of school drop outs in his ward charged that it is high time that women in the community understand that education provides a platform for serious interventions and reactions to issues such as gender based violence.
