WIDOWS OF THE LATE POLICE OFFICERS IN KASAMA CRY FOUL OVER DELAYS TO PAY THEM THEIR BENEFITS.

BY CORRESPONDENT
Widows of the late Zambia Police Service officers in Kasama have cried foul at the delay by government to pay them their departed husband’s benefits.
The windows who spoke through Mrs Flavia Kahangu and Mary Chinyama lamented that it is now over six years since the death of their husbands, but all in vain.
They stressed that it has been difficult to feed, dress and send their respective children to school owing to the unsettled benefits.
The windows have since appealed to government to urgently consider their plight.
