United National Independence Party (UNIP) Chawama constituency chairman Buywell Kaluba has called on the PF Government to ensure that modern markets are built in Chawama and other constituencies.
In an interview with Komboni Radio News, Mr. Kaluba says the construction of modern markets around the city will help accommodate the displaced street vendors.
And Mr. Kaluba says the cholera outbreak has vindicated people that opposed street vending in the country.
He has since challenged government to learn from the current outbreak of Cholera that has claimed over 60 lives and desist from making political decisions that have negative effects on citizens.
